This is it. These are the games that have been circled on the schedule for months. For the last home games of the season, your #8 NAU Ice Jacks take on their in-state rivals, the Arizona State Sun Devils, who are ranked #1 in the ACHA Division 2 West Region. The Ice Jacks look to continue their winning streak and gain their biggest wins of the season in the process. With two big wins to start 2012, the #8 NAU Ice Jacks look to keep the streak alive as they head into the stretch run of their season. This weekend, the #5 Denver Pioneers head into Jay Lively Ice Arena for two big games against the Ice Jacks. The games are Friday and Saturday night at 8:30pm and all the action can be heard live right here on KJACK.

With winter break coming to a close, the Ice Jacks season opens up again as they return to Jay Lively Ice Arena for a three weekend homestand. The second half of the season begins Friday night at 8:30pm as the Ice Jacks play host to the BYU Cougars. Your DIII NAU Ice Jacks, ranked #6 in the West region, will play their final home games of the season this weekend as they play host to the UC Davis Aggies. Game time is at 8:30pm, Friday and Saturday at Jay Lively Ice Arena. Come on out to the games to cheer on your DIII Ice Jacks and the seniors for the final time this year. After suffering a home loss to break their seven-game win streak, the #5 NAU Ice Jacks look to bounce back to the win column as they go on the road to Tempe, AZ to face off with the #4 Colorado Buffaloes. Game time is 7pm Saturday night and all the action can be heard live on KJACK Radio.

Win streak broken as the Ice Jacks fall to Colorado State

The #5 NAU Ice Jacks fell to the #2 Colorado State (CSU) Rams 8-2 Thursday night to break their seven-game winning streak.

The story of the whole game was the fast play by CSU. The Ice Jacks were put through their paces all night as the Rams consistently beat NAU to the puck and raced to get on the attack. The Ice Jacks were only down 1-0 after a very disciplined first period where there was only one penalty.

GAME ALERT: #5 NAU Ice Jacks vs. #2 Colorado State

Fresh off another offensive surge, your #5 NAU Ice Jacks return to the ice in a big showdown with the Rams from #2 Colorado State, Thursday night at 8:45pm. This is the biggest test for the Ice Jacks up to this point in the season, so tune into KJACK Radio to hear all the live action. Also, be tuned in early for a special pre-game show where we will talk about the resurgence of the DIII Ice Jacks and their big games this weekend with the defending national champions, College of the Canyons.

DII & DIII Ice Jacks continue win streaks

Both the DII and DIII NAU Ice Jacks continued their win streaks in impressive fashions as the DII squad swept the Cal St. Fullerton (CSUF) Titans 10-2 and 14-2 and the DIII team beat the ASU's DIII squad 10-4.

Ice Jacks make it five straight

With Ice Jack fans out in full costume for Halloween, the DII NAU Ice Jacks finished off a sweep of the Northern Colorado (UNC) Bears with a 12-3 victory Friday night and a comeback 7-5 win Saturday night.
