Your Mother Should Know is back and rearing to go! For those still not aware Your Mother Should Know is a music shows that plays the best of the 60s and 70s, anywhere from psychedelic rock to silver country. I play everything from AC/DC to Sam Cooke and everything in between. We're also a show of requests. If you have a favorite song from the 60s and 70s I'll play it for you! Just reply to this post and I'll try to have it in by next week. Your Mother Should Know is every Tuesday from 4-6pm so don't miss it!

Hey All You Cats and Kittens,

This week is the last broadcast of Your Mother Should Know, at least for this semester, so I'm taking any and all requests! Anything 60's and 70's I'll play for you if I can find it. Just send me a reply to this post before Thurs at 4pm with the song and what band plays it and I'll try to play it for you. Once in a life time opportunity this is so don't miss out! Heck I'll even play disco for you! I would prefer if you didn't request disco, but all bets are off now! Tune in to the last show of Your Mother Should Know this Friday the 9th from 3pm and 5pm and don't forget to send me your requests!

Beatles Day! 4/6

Hey All,
Beatles Day is coming next week, that's the day Your Mother Should Know will play nothing, but Beatles music. So if you have a favorite song get it in now! I have a ton of Beatles music, but I can't play all 310 songs. So just drop me a comment on this post naming the song you want, then listen to Your Mother Should Know on the 6th for the song you requested! I will be trying to play songs in order from earliest to latest so if you can only listen to the second half of the show please request a later song and so forth. Hope everyone tunes in April 6th from 2-4pm!

1970 – Although the Beatles had abandoned the tracks originally cut for Let It Be, their business manager, Allen Klein, invites Phil Spector to remix the recordings.

If you know a song or band from the 60s and 70s that we don't play on the show that'd you'd like to hear let me know! Just reply to this post with the name. I do request that you check what year your request came out cause if it wasn't released between 1960 or 1979 I can't play it. Sorry Queen fans no "Another One Bites the Dust." Anywho all requests will be taken under consideration keeping in mind not all music is accessible. Please confer with FCC regulations! Thanks.

2011 – Suzi Rotolo, Bob Dylan’s former girlfriend dies on This Day In Rock! After meeting backstage at one of his gigs, Dylan was overcome by Suzi’s raw beauty.
1977 – gigs tonight around the UK; at The Apollo Glasgow, Scotland, Black Sabbath, AC/DC appeared at The Top Rank in Swansea and David Bowie and Iggy Pop.
1975 – Linda McCartney is arrested on charges of marijuana possession after Los Angeles police pull the McCartneys over for allegedly running a red light and smell a familiar musk emerging from their Lincoln Continental. Driver Paul is not charged.
