KJACK gets down with Mansions, live.

Written by Taylor Stephens

Christopher Browder has done it once again. His band, Mansions, just released their second full-length album, Dig Up the Dead on April 5th, and I can't stop listening to it. Breaking into the scene in 2009 with their first album New Best Friends, Mansions crafted a sound comparable to a blend of Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, and early Death Cab for Cutie, taking the honesty of Brand New and Manchester Orchestra lyrically while dropping the clamor and commotion, pairing up his skillfully laced-together words with the less-agitating sound of Death Cab. With Dig Up the Dead, Browder returns with a solid album that is catchy from beginning to end.

Tune in tomorrow at 3pm to listen in on the live interview with Christopher Browder, discussing the new album and Mansions in general on KJACK radio, 1680 AM, and online here at www.kjack.org
