You’ve read about it in every Harry Potter book and seen it in every movie, and this weekend, you’ll get the chance to see it live - Quidditch. NAU’s Quidditch team will play their first game of the year against Arizona State University this Saturday.

This Saturday, NAU faces off against ASU in a game of Quidditch. Before you can even ask, yes, Quidditch is a real sport, and yes, it is just as brutal and awesome as the Quidditch we know and love. Whether or not you're a fan of Harry Potter, we here at KJACK can guarantee a great time at this Saturday's match.

The NBA lockout, which has been in effect since July 2011 has already cancelled two weeks of games in the basketball season. Both coaches and players are having a difficult time compromising about the heavily debated issue. This Tuesday, there is a scheduled conference meeting between the players and coaching staff. Players, such as Kevin Durant (OKC), are participating in exhibition games to keep in shape. In regards to past meetings, they have been running slowly, with little progress being made.

This week on Jacked up we will be talking about some key games that happened in the NFL. We will then dive into talking a little about cardinal football. Is it time to panic? We will the proceed to talk about the Brett Favre comments towards about Arron Rodgers. And discuss who we think the top 5 players in the NFL are. We will also get into the MLB playoffs and finally, talk about the up coming matches for USA soccer.

The NAU Ice Jacks travel back down to the valley to face off with their in-state rivals, the D2 Arizona State Sun Devils, this Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 6pm. KJACK Radio has all the live action with Jesse Vineyard and Matt Esaena giving you the play-by-play.

Tune in to KJACK Friday night at 7:30pm and Saturday at 8:30pm as the Division 2 NAU Ice Jacks return to the ice for a new season when they face-off with the Division 1 Arizona State Sun Devils. After the Saturday game, keep it tuned to KJACK as the Division 3 Ice Jacks hit the ice against the New Mexico Ice Wolves.

Be sure to tune in to KJACK this weekend as the 13th ranked Ice Jacks Division three team return home to Jay Lively Ice Arena to face off aginst the 15th ranked Sacramento State Hornets.
